Marienville
Historically a timber and glass manufacturing center, Marienville evolved into a major recreational hub in the mid-20th century. Recognized as the "Snowmobile Capital of Pennsylvania," it provides access to over 360 miles of interconnected trails. It also hosts the "Tour-de-Forest" ATV event twice a year, attracting thousands of riders. The town is surrounded by some of the most remote sections of the ANF, including the Buzzard Swamp Wildlife Area and the technical Timberline ATV Trail.
