West Hickory

West Hickory serves as a vital bridge point over the Allegheny River, connecting the scenic Route 62 corridor to the western interior of the Allegheny National Forest. Historically a railroad and timber center, it now functions primarily as a launch site for river expeditions and a base for fishing the deep pools of the Allegheny.
