Tidioute
Tidioute is famously located in a dramatic "S" bend of the Allegheny River and is steeped in the history of the 1860s oil rush. Every autumn, the town draws thousands of visitors for the Pennsylvania State Championship Fishing Tournament, one of the oldest and most prestigious in the state. The town is surrounded by rugged terrain, including the Tidioute Overlook, which provides a stunning panoramic view of the river and its historic wilderness islands.
