Cyclone
Named after a catastrophic tornado that leveled miles of virgin timber in 1884, Cyclone is situated on the "Big Level" plateau—a high, flat expanse of the Allegheny Plateau. This area is characterized by its dense black cherry forests and historic oil and gas fields. Today, it serves as a quiet gateway for visitors heading north to the Willow Bay Recreation Area on the Allegheny Reservoir or south toward the technical hiking trails of the Marilla Reservoir.
