The childhood home of legendary comedian Lucille Ball, Jamestown has long been associated with her legacy. In 2018, the city opened the National Comedy Center, the official cultural institution for comedy in the U.S. It operates alongside the Lucille Ball Desi Arnaz Museum, which features re-creations of the iconic "I Love Lucy" studio sets. Located at the southern tip of Chautauqua Lake, it also serves as a gateway to lakeside resorts like Celoron and Lakewood.
