Twin Lakes Overlook

The Twin Lakes Overlook is a "secret" vantage point tucked away on the ridges above the Twin Lakes Recreation Area. Accessible via a moderately steep hike, the overlook provides a unique, top-down perspective of the Twin Lakes valley and the surrounding forest canopy. It is a quiet alternative to the more famous reservoir overlooks, offering a peaceful spot for reflection and a bird’s-eye view of the historic CCC-built park below. The vista is particularly impressive in late spring when the mountain laurel and rhododendron are in full bloom along the ridge.
