Tionesta Creek is a majestic 62-mile tributary that meanders through the heart of the Allegheny National Forest before joining the Allegheny River. It is a "paddler’s paradise," particularly the stretch from Kellettville to the Tionesta Lake, which offers a mix of gentle flows and scenic natural beauty. The creek is also a high-quality fishery, home to native brook trout in its headwaters and trophy-sized musky in its lower, slower-moving reaches near the dam.
