Sherman Memorial Lighthouse
Pennsylvania’s tallest inland lighthouse on Tionesta Island.
Standing 75 feet tall, this unique lighthouse was built by local resident Jack Sherman on a private island in Tionesta. While not on a coast, it features a working light and serves as a museum for Sherman's extensive collection of lighthouse miniatures. It is a major landmark for paddlers on the Allegheny River and a symbol of Tionesta’s community spirit.
