Scandia

Settled on a high, wind-swept plateau by Swedish immigrants in the 19th century, Scandia offers some of the most breathtaking "farm-to-forest" vistas in the region. It is a critical access point for the northern Allegheny National Forest, located just miles from the Kinzua Dam and the Rimrock Overlook. The area is a favorite for local hunters and snowmobilers, serving as a peaceful upland retreat above the deep valleys of the Allegheny Reservoir.
