Rimrock Overlook

Rimrock Overlook is a masterpiece of 1930s craftsmanship, featuring hand-carved stone steps and walls built by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). The overlook provides a dramatic 180-degree panoramic view of Kinzua Bay and the Allegheny Reservoir. Historically, these cliffs overlooked the now-submerged village of Corydon. A rugged hiking trail connects the overlooks to Kinzua Beach below, winding through massive rock fissures and ancient hemlock groves that characterize the rugged topography of the Allegheny plateau.
