Red Bridge

Historic bridge site and major reservoir access point.

Red Bridge is a vital hub for reservoir recreation, located where Route 321 crosses the Kinzua arm of the Allegheny Reservoir. The site is named for the historic bridge that once spanned the valley before the dam was built. Today, the area is world-famous among anglers for its extensive submerged roadbeds, timber stands, and bridge abutments, which provide exceptional habitat for trophy walleye, northern pike, and muskellunge. With its large campground, full-service boat launch, and accessible bank fishing areas, Red Bridge serves as the primary gateway for many visitors to the eastern side of the reservoir.
