Lynch
Small ANF access point along Route 948.
Lynch is a secluded forest settlement along Route 948 that captures the rugged spirit of the "Big Level" plateau. Historically a site for the early chemical and timber industries that utilized the nearby Tionesta Creek, it is now a favored entry point for backcountry explorers. The area provides access to some of the most remote sections of the National Forest, where old-growth remnants and diverse wildlife populations thrive away from the more developed recreation corridors.
