Kinzua Bridge State Park
Home of the historic Skywalk and the "Tracks Across the Sky."
Kinzua Bridge State Park is home to one of the most spectacular engineering stories in American history. Originally built in 1882 as the world's highest railroad viaduct, the bridge was partially destroyed by a tornado in 2003. Today, the remaining towers have been transformed into the Kinzua Skywalk, a breathtaking walkway that extends 600 feet into the Kinzua Gorge and features a glass-bottomed observation deck. The park is a major anchor for the Knox & Kane Rail Trail and offers an award-winning visitor center that chronicles the bridge's rise, fall, and reinvention.
