Kiasutha Recreation Area

Kiasutha Recreation Area is named in honor of Guyasuta (Kiasutha), a powerful Seneca chief and diplomat who played a pivotal role in the French and Indian War. Located on a scenic arm of the Allegheny Reservoir, the area features a large, family-friendly campground and a popular swimming beach. It is a major hub for water-based recreation, offering boat launches and shoreline fishing, while preserving the memory of the region’s indigenous history through its historic name.
