Hector Falls

Hector Falls is one of the most unique "hidden gems" of the forest, featuring a 22-foot drop where the water cascades over a massive, fractured block of sandstone. Unlike traditional waterfalls, Hector Falls is part of a "rock city" geological formation, with deep crevices and towering stone walls surrounding the falls. Reaching the site requires a short but rewarding hike through dense forest, leading visitors to a secluded amphitheater of stone and water that feels worlds away from civilization.
