Farnsworth Cabin

Farnsworth Cabin is a historic and beautifully preserved CCC-built structure that serves as a unique public rental facility within the Allegheny National Forest. Originally constructed in the 1930s as a ranger station, the cabin is built from locally sourced stone and timber, embodying the rustic "Parkitecture" style of the era. Located near the Farnsworth Trout Hatchery, the cabin offers a nostalgic retreat for visitors, providing a base camp for exploring the nearby hiking trails and trout streams while experiencing a living piece of the forest’s architectural heritage.
