Dewdrop Recreation Area

Dewdrop Recreation Area is a premier tiered campground nestled along the western slopes of the Allegheny Reservoir. Its unique layout offers many campsites with direct views of the water, making it one of the most sought-after spots in the National Forest. Beyond camping, it serves as a critical "trailhead town" for the Jakes Rocks Extreme Mountain Bike Trail system, allowing riders to pedal directly from their tents to some of the best flow trails in the Eastern US. It also features a concrete boat launch and a sheltered swimming area.
